Still Can Tattoo
Approaching singularity! Trying to figure out what to do with the hourglass, if I want to do something to the hourglass. Going to play with the wing more. Pretty sure the sprout and the scarab are how I want them to look.
Concept - Fallen Lucifer
Writer-inspired concept for the fallen Lucifer. Ignore the bottom of the wings where the heads used to be.

Concept - Belial v2
Another concept for Belial -- it started out as a Lucifer sketch, but we came up with a better idea for them. Also, as I was drawing this, it started to basically look like Belial, anyway.
I haven't updated in awhile! But, I swear, I've been drawing. That's practically all I've been doing on break. My animation is taking forever, so I prolly still won't be updating as much as I'd like -- that said, it's coming along! Also, one of my friends wants to do the music for it, which is -so awesome and exciting-. So I'm working extra hard on it. Done with 10/50 pages of the comic.

Concept - Belial
Concept for a major player in the Ninth Circle. For some reason, shading concept-style characters in color turns out looking...off. It looked fine in greyscale! I don't understand it. Clearly, need to work on that more. Also, the horns are supposed to look sorta like they used to be a halo which fused into the head, so I'll prolly change them up a bit so they reflect that.
Blog stuff is changing up: going to be doing two "daily" sketches a week (rule: under 30 minutes each, more of an exploration than anything else), two concepts (like this) a week (rule: much more time put into them, more fully developed or fleshed out), and, ideally, three pages of the comic while we're trying to get that on it's feet (update on that, 8/50 pages completed for our goal of getting it up online somewhere). We'll see how these new guidelines work out! If they don't, I can always switch back, right? Also, I'm going to be working a ton on the animation, because I've decided it has to be absolutely fantastic. So, some things may fall by the wayside, but I'm going to try not to let that happen.

DS - Azrael 'True Form' initial
Initial sketch for Azrael (Angel of Death)'s true form. Lotsa hands and wings. Fun! Higher rendering to come.

DS - zombie gesturez
Just a quick opaque-sketch in class of a zombie head a compatriot sculpted in clay. I only used the non-pressure sensitive, opaque brush for this. It came out interestingly! I might try this more, at least for base sketches, because I do think it helps speed up my initial processes.

DS - Just a Blip in Time
What? It had to happen. Besides, I needed practice drawing people kissing. Don't judge me. Jack Harkness and Ianto Jones.
