Super quick update before I hav to run to class. Just doing top-down views for the characters now. I'm not sure if this one is too confusing -- you don't get a very good sense what Mama Dairy looks like, but I don't know if that's really possible with this view. I'm also not sure as to the level of detail that should be going into these, because if there's too much and the images are too tiny, that will confuse things even more. I'm going to work with the colors and darks versus brights to make the legs more separate from the arms and "head," to help clarify Mama Dairy.
I think this general approach is fine - as long as we precede each major encounter with the "full body" concept art, it should be enough to get the point across.
